Is Hopkins Too Much of a reach for me?

Extra Curricular:

Also will get one from my counselor but this is a little tricky because she is retiring this summer so she is not writing letters...so I'll just get to know my new counselor as soon as possible*

Please let me know! Thanks!

Based on stats alone, it’d be a reach - due to the low GPA and rank. However,
no one on here can accurately tell you of your chances in front of the committee. I think the qualitative variables at play here (your essay, recs, ECs) will be the difference once you’re in the general academic ballpark (which you are).

I had similar stats and extracurricular activities, and I got in. Just make sure your essays align with what you’re looking to study at Hopkins and your pre-law track

Hopkins is nearly always a reach. Your AP test scores will be a good indicator on how much of those college level courses you are comprehending. Your SAT2 scores are not where they should be, and paired with your gpa…it does raise a flag. If you don’t need financial aid and Hopkins is truly your first choice, you would up your chances by applying ED. That you are not premed, make it within reach. Hopkid’s advice is good.
