Is IT a lucrative career?

I have a high disposition to the science and business majors and will most likely pursue one. I want to know job prospects for IT and business admin. Because from what I hear IT will be EXTREMELY saturated by the 20's (when I will get out of school). I know business is saturated but job prospects will grow quite a bit by the 20's is what the experts say.

So what I want to know is IT or business going to make more money and more jobs than one or the other?

At schools which offer IT majors, it is typically a business-oriented major with some lighter-weight (compared to CS) courses in operating systems, networks, and databases (if you can, it may be better to take the CS versions to get a stronger base of knowledge in those subjects).

As far as the future goes, no one can predict it with certainty.
