In a section of my essay for Fordham University, I want to talk about the role that God plays in my life...should I stay away from this, or would it be fine for me to write about that since Fordham is a Catholic school? I already said in my essay that I go to a Catholic high school

I can’t imagine it hurting your chances per se. Of course it should be a sincere and honest essay. What is the essay question/topic?

The topic is to talk about a life experience that has shaped the person I am today…I am talking about a retreat that my school requires students to go on, called Kairos. And yes, everything in the essay is completely sincere and honest

Sounds good!
