Is it all right to submit an additional essay?

I did two Common Application essays that I like. One of them shows a different side of me, that is not revealed anywhere else in the application or the supplements, and I plan to use it as my main one. My application shows that I am a science person and the other essay is about an anecdote that started my passion for science. In my opinion, the second one is better written, but does not add something COMPLETELY new about me. Would it be better to submit this essay or not to submit it?

Don't submit it. Admissions officers have enough essays to read.
