Is it cheaper to pledge a fraternity in the Fall or Spring Semester??

Hello, I had a question over cost of pledging fraternities since I'm looking into rushing this upcoming Spring Semester 2013 ps. I'm not a freshman, I'm a transfer student. I was wondering if anyone knew, overall in most universities, is it cheaper to pledge during the Fall Semester or Spring Semester?

It probably wouldn’t be cheaper either way, honestly. You have to pay for all your pledging materials, your badge, plus anything else you need to pay for during the semester with a fraternity, such as formal and other special stuff.

but, if you get to live in a frat house, would it be cheaper than on-campus housing?

Most likely won’t be living at the Frat House since I am going to be leasing a house, but was just wondering if pledge dues are cheaper in the Spring, since there isn’t that much going on as Fall Semester?

Dues will be the same every month. And you would have the same cost for pin, etc.

Dues, initiation fees, and badge fees will be the same no matter the season
