Is it had as a average student to get in?

Most students at my school have told me it is hard to get in at USC does anyone have any info they can share

I am also curious about this and wondering if out of state plays into admissions. I know some state schools are enjoying out of state student for their increased tuition costs.

A lot of great information in the “Common Data Set” -

You need to see section C of the CDS which discusses RIC and GPA of entering class. They are using a weighted GPA in their calculation which causes the GPA to look very high with 74% of the entering students higher than 3.75. The unweighted GPA is probably below 3.5, but ask your HS guidance office for help here. The CDS is great and I am always talking up its use, but you need to know what you are reading. This information is from section C11 of the report. In section C10, the RIC does not appear as competitive with 29% from the top 10% of their HS class and 61 % from the top quarter. for this data see http://www.ipr.sc.edu/cds/cds2017/cdsc2017.htm as cited by lastone03, but you need to poke around to find section C. Average SAT scores can also be found in this section.

Any idea what your weighted GPA and RIC are? Does your school have RIC?

Ignore my post, I made a boo boo
