I've posted this on the USC forum too.
I'm a rising senior and thinking about majoring in communication.
But of course, I might change my mind about my major once I get to college.
So I'm wondering if School of Communication is harder to get into than the college.
If I'm not 100% sure about my major, am I better off applying to the college and they transfer internally?
Is this a good idea?

Thanks!

The acceptance rates among the colleges are roughly the same--what varies is the number of ppl applying. It's very easy to transfer between most schools/majors with three major exceptions (Medill, Theatre, Music), and thus it would be really easy to transfer into WCAS from Comm, but really just about as easy to transfer into Comm (Comm studies is the most transferred into major) as long as you're not thinking of Theatre. So I guess it's really a toss up.
