I don't mean to be one of "those" people. But I am in a Kaplan prep class and the sample tests that I took and scored at home seemed like they were much harder. Like, getting 1750 over and over and over again hard. Not breaking the 600 barrier in my best subject hard.

I know how to score the test so for each section I calculated approximately what the raw score for all of the ten would be and added at home later making sure to include a decent margin of error. Calculated about a 2160.

This is the first "official" time I am taking the SAT soooo I don't know if this is just a weird thing to assume that it was simple but I thought the math in the practice tests was much harder! The writing however in this test (particularly the last section) seemed like it was very hard.

Anyone else? Thoughts? I had the test with the passages about negative campaigning, the Japanese high school runner post WWII era, tectonic plates, and ugh something else.
