Hi I’m an international student and my major is computer science. My current GPA is 3.3 and I took 124 credits at the community college. I did poorly on physics II, java II and cal4 due to severe depression. But, I did very well in the other math classes and java I. I already reply for Fall 2017. Is it possible to transfer to the University of Maryland? I think I may not be accepted due to my low GPA.
yes, it is possible. umd generally accepts transfer students with over a 3.0. however, keep in mind that if you’re applying for the regular deadline that admission becomes highly competitive. i once had an admissions counselor email me and tell me that they accept 90% of their students through priority.
