Is it too late?

Hey guys Im going to be a sophomore this upcoming fall. I'm most likely going to Miami (Ohio), Ohio State or U Kentucky. I am considering going the medical route but I'll probably major in business incase I did not get into Med School. The only thing I'm worried about is my first semester. I went to Purdue last fall and didn't like it so I came home to go to Community College while I decided where I want to study. I only got 1 C at Purdue but it brought me very low, near a 2.9ish. My second semester I did extremely well and ended Community College with a 3.78. So my question is do you think that first semester at Purdue will hurt me in the long run, or will a great upcoming 3 years make up for it when it comes time to apply for Med schools.

With medical school competition becoming even more intense as time passes anything can possibly hurt you in the long run. However, it certainly won't keep you out if you are dedicated enough.

Yeah I'm gonna give it my all as soon as I get to OSU or Miami. Do you guys think I should double major? I want to get a Business or Econ degree so that if Med school doesn't work out I have a second plan. I was thinking about doubling with a science for my other major. Zoology and Bio are pretty popular for med at MU so I may look into one of those.
