Is it Too Small?!

My friend went and visited Chapman the other day and said she couldn't believe how small the campus was. Do you all find it too small as well?

Honestly I didn’t think so at all. In fact a friend of mine put it into perspective the other day. I am coming from a high school of 3500 students. She said, “do you know all 3500 students at school?” I of course answered no. It may seem like it is small and trust me I thought the same but after visiting and having a new perspective I realized I am never going to know all 6000+ students that attend Chapman so therefor its pretty big to me ;)

I’ve visited a few times, and the campus is definitely very compact compared to other colleges campuses. However, the residence halls are across from the football field and separate from the main part of the campus. Dodge, and the Dance building, and some other buildings are also a ways away. If you put them all together, the campus would seem larger.

The buildings are all fairly close together and there isn’t lots and lots of green space like some campuses have. One thing that’s a plus: it won’t take you long to walk from class to class.

it is a tiny campus… and believe me it feels very much like high school… I am a current student right now

^ Can you elaborate on that? Why does it feel like high school?
