<p>I think you present a substantial, well-corroborated argument... and in fact it may hold true in specific instances -- you must know by now, though, that I don't like generalizations! ;) A few months ago, I was an ajudicator for Student Congress at a National Forensics League regional tournament, and I was impressed by the nimbleness in which the debaters could switch perspectives, yet articulate persuasive points of view. Critical reason is never lost on me, and I certainly appreciate your ability there -- it'll get you far in life, vicissitudes notwithstanding. ;)</p>
<p>I don't detect that any rejection you went through will throw you off course in the long run. Ultimately, successful people set goals knowing that there will be obstacles placed in their paths. Handling these distractions with eloquence and logic is a practice I'm sure you'll continue to refine.</p>
