Hey everyone,
I currently a freshman who attends a small, public, state owned college in Pennsylvania (just because I got tuition waived). I’m considering attending law school, but I’m assuming to get into any of the top fourteen, it’d be beneficial to transfer (to Penn State more than likely).
My SAT scores were:
Critical Reading: 600
Math: 510
Writing: 560
Any thoughts on this? Should I also retake the SAT, to get into a better university?
I basically just walked in and took the SAT in high school, and I’m sure with some amount of preparation I could bring my score up. I’m sure this has been asked before, but I was just wondering if it’d be worth the time/money in my specific scenario.
Thanks!
Law schools don’t care where you went to undergrad. Transfer, don’t transfer, they won’t care. Employers sometimes care though, so you should keep that in mind.
Free tuition is worth it; Penn State isn’t worth paying tuition if the goal is a better law school. Stay where you are and study hard for the LSAT and get top grades.
Thanks everyone.
