<p>The thread is very long, but it's the one CMA1 mentioned. The student wanted to attend MIT and not only didn't get into MIT but didn't have any acceptances (five denies, three WL's). <p>Over - no, his middle name isn't David...do you know somebody from Up With People? My dad was with the group for a year and then was on staff for a year...they were in Germany during the Berlin Olympics in 1972 if that helps at all.</p>

<p>My friend was in Up With People from 72-74. I think he was based in Spain.</p>
