Is it wrong to want to go to an Ivy League Medical School?

Yep well I don’t think i’m tunnel-visioned on going to Harvard Med. That is just my top school of choice… although I did make it known that I have many other schools in mind which are mainly state schools…so yeah

To the OP:

It is not wrong to want to go to an Ivy League Medical School, because:

“There is nothing like a dream to create the future”- Victor Hugo, AND

“No person has the right to rain on your dreams” - Martin Luther King Jr.

It’s not wrong ever to shoot for the top. But the top should represent somewhere you want to be and would enjoy and would go to even if it were not tops. Forget the name, get the top environment for you.,

…as long as it is YOUR top, not the top in other peope’s mind. I mean, you have researched greatly, visited, get familiar with the current student body and determined that the place fits YOU personally the best. If Harvard is the one, so be it. If Harvard is the one because you heard that it is good, because it is at the top of the charts, then, I would suggest to be much more cautious what you are wishing for.
