Is my college list sufficient?

Here a thread with pretty much all my stats:

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?p=13019855%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?p=13019855</a></p>

My mom wants me to stay close, so I'm pretty much limited to colleges and universities in California.

Pepperdine is a no-no for me.

Is this lost sufficient to apply to? If not, can you suggest more [reputable] safeties, matches, and low reaches? I intend on applying either as undecided, Computer Science, Psychology, Political Science, or International Relations. Also, if you feel a school should move lower or higher on the list, let me know. All UCs have the same application, so I'm not applying to too many schools IMO.

Safeties
UC Davis
All other UCs except B and LA
CSUs
Cal Poly SLO

Matches/ high matches
UC Berkeley
UC LA
USC

Reaches
Stanford

Btw, can anyone suggest any reputable (my mom -_-) OOS schools that I would be in at or no more than a mid match for that offers great need based and merit aid? Thanks! :)

I appreciate your time!

You should add Claremont Colleges to your list. And if you are going to do anything science/tech related add Caltech as well.

Ooh, Claremont sounds good. Caltech would go under SUPERRRR reach x)

Reaches
Stanford
*Claremont/Pomona
*Caltech

Remember, dont just apply to Pomona, but also Claremont-Mckenna/other Claremont colleges and Harvey Mudd, if you want to do engineering.

Caltech probably is a reach, but what the hell just try.
