Is my college list viable?

Note that the above ACT figures for Northeastern are for admitted students. In order to make homogeneous comparisons to other colleges, the OP will also want to review Northeastern’s profile for attending students, when available.

You have completed one year of high school. See what happens over the next 18 months. You are likely to change greatly, your list may change, and there will be more data to consider.

@TheGreyKing Wow, thank you so much for the list!! I will definitely do some research on all of those.

@PengsPhils Oops! Thanks for the clarification. Had gotten that statistic from PrepScholar, which probably isn’t the most accurate source of information. Everyone and their mother on this thread has suggested Rochester, and after the little research I’ve done into it thus far, it does seem (on the surface, at least) like it might be a good fit for me. Definitely going to seriously consider adding it to my list of matches. Will look into Case Western!

@roycroftmom That’s definitely true! I’m not going to be the same person in senior year that I am now, and I’ll change up my list if and when my interests or stats change - this isn’t set in stone. Am just trying to get a general idea of what I want and don’t want in a college - and of which colleges would fit those criteria - before it’s the end of junior year and I start panicking because of how little time I have left to decide (which has happened to several of my friends, lol).

You will change, but the colleges you are considering also may change admission policies, testing requirements, admit rates. The admit rates 3 years ago bear little relation to the rates now at many schools, and may differ even more in 2 more years. What you think is important now may not even be a consideration by fall senior year.
