Is my GPA good enough?

I think that my gpa and class rank are very bad. Will this effect my chances of getting into a good college? I’m a junior btw.

UW: 3.75
weighted: 4.22
class rank: 69 out of 637

Your class rank and W GPA are great. Your UW is a little low for a T25. You’re honestly worrying over nothing.

How do you define “good college”?

Many colleges will look at more than your very respectable GPA when making an admissions decision.

If you simply see colleges as good and bad, then I’m sure there are colleges that would be labeled “good” where you could successfully apply.

Otherwise, you need to define “good” a little better to get any realistic answer.

I’m curious what you think of your 568 classmates that are worse than “very bad”.

People around here get irritated with students with strong GPAs & effectively in the 10% of a class complaining about being how those are “very bad” stats. ‘No whining on the yacht’ applies.

As @Groundwork2022 asks, what do you think is a “good” college. Are you are limiting it to those tippy tops with an under 10% admissions rate?
