Is my schedule going to be too tough to handle for Junior Year?

Hi guys! Everyone has me TERRIFIED for next year at school.

I go to a selective private school in which only honors or AP courses are offered. There's no regular program, so it forces it's students to take a rough course load.

I've managed to do well at my school and am tied for 1st place in rank with two others in my grade. We're separated by decimal points each quarter in average.

For Junior Year, I chose this schedule:
Honors Chinese II
AP US History
AP Chemistry
Honors Theology III
Honors Advanced Pre-Calculus
Honors Physics
Honors English III

My schedule has a LOT of skeptics in my school. Not a single person in my grade attempted these two APs at once, and nobody in the class of 2014 had either!

Everyone keeps telling me I can't handle taking APUSH work at the same time as AP Chemistry due to the heavy, intensive homework. I self studied for the SAT Chemistry this year and pulled a 750. I feel that my score would imply that I could handle AP Chemistry easily, but everyone has made me feel as though this was a mistake.

Thoughts? Any help is appreciated! I'm nervous as to how my workload will combine with my extracurriculars/SAT I prep/SAT US History and SAT Math II prep. Is there anyone else who took both of these APs at the same time who can share their experience?

Thanks for dealing with my insanity :)

Well I’m taking 7 APs so. ;_;
A lot of my friends take 5 APs Junior year

So, YOU CAN DO IT! and it depends what you want to major in! A lot of people say that colleges don’t really care about history classes unless it has something to do with your major. but Hey! You can do it don’t worry.

It’s very rigorous, but doable. If you think you can handle it, then go for it! I’m also taking AP chem and APUSH next year as a junior in addition to AP English lang (and I think 10-11 other rising juniors are doing this at my school). If you work hard, it shouldn’t be too bad.

Nope. Work hard and you’ll be fine.

Nah bro. Realistically, you can take 17 APs in a year.
Don’t forget to double up on sports every semester and get those 1000 volunteer hours.
Also, publish some research in a major STEM field and perform at carnegie hall too.

But in all seriousness, it’s fine
