I meant the title reminds me of the song. Good luck to you RD people. Hope all you defferrees like venus and impboy get in. If you want my advice, don't check your decision online, but wait for the mail. It feels so much better getting the big fat letter than clicking on a link (well for those of you who are sane enough to wait a few days that is).

If we get in, we'll at least have a CC meeting/party during Penn Previews, for those who can go.

You know whats funny? I found out I was deferred online a few hours after it was posted, and only got the letter in the middle of January (intl mail can suck). Thank goodness for online decisions notices!

agree dahlia... same thing happened to me!

We should definitely plan a CC Penn '11 party, but let's just see if we get in first gulp.

lol yea, that's a sweet idea. but hell, we'll be partyin together all next year anyway (hopefully :) ) !

I totally think that I'm going to try to wait until I get the mail to see my decision...

I don't know if that's at all possible for me, but I'll try. I got into my two safeties already, and I'm dreading finding out from the other colleges (I applied to a few ivies) if I'm in or not. Man...waiting bites. A lot.

yeah.. I mean, I want to open up my mailbox and find a big envelope...
but I think my brain would burst before then... either that or my friends would totally tie me to a chair and check for me.

heh i wont actually have the luxury of opening my mailbox anticipating the big envelope. ill be away. and when i walk into my house after returning from vacation, ill be anticipating a stack of big envelopes on my desk in my room :)

If I wait for all college mail to arrive, I'll probably find out where I've been accepted/rejected just before or even after the reply date. Such is the magic of living abroad... Thank goodness for the internet!

Wow, this is sad - I'm posting after my post. But this seems to be the only freak-out thread, and at risk of creating more clutter, just wanted to say:

Bump!

bump bump bump-- yay omg zzz ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It is 2 days, 12 hours, 56 minutes and 31 seconds until Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 5:00:00 PM (New York time).

Aahhh!

(Let it be known that this post is no way an attempt at intelligent conversation or furthering anything.)

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAUUURRRRRRRRRBBBRRRRRUUUUUUUUURRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!

(Thank you. We will now return you to your regularly-scheduled posting.)
