I keep hearing how you have no chance of getting into medical school if you get under a 3.5 GPA, and I was wondering if Neuroscience is more manageable than Biology in terms of courseload at Yale for a pre-med?

^Have you gotten into Yale?

^^Neuroscience as such is a not a major at Yale. You can either take the Neurobiology track within the Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology major, or you could take the Neuroscience track within the Psychology major. I can’t speak for the differences (if any) in workload. However, neither major requires so many courses that you wouldn’t be able to balance a particularly difficult course in any given semester with a “lighter” course from another department.
