I understand that certain schools do seek NMF and NMSF, but considering locations that many NMSF/NMF apply to such as the Ivies, MIT, Caltech, Stanford etc., would it seem like excess (like too nerdy? and identical to SAT), or is it obvious to report as an award?
Duh. Report it. You CANNOT be “too nerdy” for the top colleges in the country.
@andyis … Being named a NMSF means you scored in the top 1% of test takers in your state, which is absolutely worth noting on an application. It may not carry much weight with Ivies and the like, but unless you have something else that makes you stand out more than “top 1%”…why wouldn’t you report it? :-??
