I'm going to be taking the SAT November 6th, and I just learned from that "priority application" (application to make Tulane appear more selective) that the Early Action deadline is November 15th. I'm not finding any info on the website about whether Tulane accepts November SAT scores or not. Anyone have a clue?

Don't think I'm going to get in, but it's pretty much free so might as well you know? And Early Action would be really awesome. So I'm aiming for that.

I think that you can designate Tulane when you take the test, and because of electronic reporting they can get your score before the time they promise to inform you. Whether or not that means they will have time to make a decision and tell you before the end of the year or whenever it is they promise to have an answer to you is another matter. They may consider your file automatically put into the RD pile if your entire file isn’t complete by Nov 15. I suggest you e-mail your admissions person [Tulane Admission: Meet Your Counselor](http://admission.tulane.edu/counselors/index.php) and let them know you are taking the Nov 6 test but would still like to be considered for EA. They will give you the definitive answer.

to apply early action you need to have taken the SAT by october. if you’ve taken the SAT previously and submit those scores, then your application will be considered for early action with your current scores. If you then take the SAT again in November, Tulane will reconsider your application with the new SAT scores, although it would then be considered for regular decision.
