I was just wondering if there are any other transfer students who have applied and been accepted to Ohio State. I'm too late for the scholarship deadline (November 1) but then online it says when you submit your application, you are considered for institutional aid.

For a public university, whether you’re IS or OOS will make a major difference in the amount of need based FA you will receive.

So do IS students tend to get more? I am in-state transferring from my local CC.

Public colleges are supported by the tax payers of that state and therefore give preference to IS students, most publics give nothing to OOS students. Of the public universities, only UNC-CH and UVA treat IS and OOS students the same for need based FA.

Your CC advisor should be able to discuss this with you as they have the most experience.
