Hi everyone, I got into my first choice school uc irvine and I feel that this is the best school that I will get into. I’ve gotten into fordham, umass ahmerst, rutgers (my state school), tcnj etc. Still waiting for NYU, umiami and tulane which are all more expensive than uci. Is paying $59k a year worth it?
If your family is wealthy and you have the California dream then yes.
Otherwise Fordham Rutgers or UMass Amherst would be at least as good and a lot cheaper for your family.
If money isn’t an issue, sure. Otherwise, no.

@briank82 My intended major is pre med :), money isn’t a big issue, but I was jw if it’s worth it
“Worth it” is relative and nearly impossible to quantify. With the amount of debt you’re going to accrue for all of your education as a medical student, spending $240,000 on just a 4-year undergrad degree is a terrible, terrible, terrible idea unless money truly isn’t an object.
