Is Peabody School the right choice?

My son is an undecided major and the Peabody school seems to interest him. He is interested in HOD, definitely not education. He likes the idea of declaring a track/major after sophmore year when he would have gotten a wide variety of courses under his belt. He likes the description on leadership as well. He is very strong in and really likes English and History and dislikes Math. (His SAT's certainly reflect this)He has spoken of a wide variety of potential career interests but he is far from being decisive - business, sales, advertising/marketing, law, psychology... I think he could be interested in sports medicine but because math is his worst subject he feels it is not an option to take a medicine track.

So can anyone tell me some some specific personal experinces of HOD in Peabody School? Do you feel you get a great diverse education? How do you think it compares to an A&S education? Given what I have said about him do you think it makes sense for him?

You've done your part already.

He will find his way at a place where there are no poor alternative paths.

You don't need to pick now. Don't sweat it.

Being involved in preparing your son for admittance to top colleges is something wonderful you've done for him. Welcome to now becoming a spectator.

heh, im stuck between HOD and child studies. same here though: definitely not education :D
