Is Salisbury University a party school?

A friend has twins who are sophomores: one at UMBC and one at UMCP. Both were in honors dorms as freshmen and felt as though the no-drinking policies were better enforced at UMBC. It seems as though dorm choice is one of the controlling factors in how much partying there is. Although as others have mentioned, if you want to find a party, you can find one anywhere.

If you haven’t looked a Stevenson yet, it is a split campus, so students don’t live right on campus.

A friend’s daughter attends Salisbury and is very happy. She got into College Park, but preferred the size of Salisbury. I feel she is a well rounded kid - good grades, played sports in high school. She probably also played beer pong, but I never heard any horror stories about this kid. She definitely devotes time to her studies.

I know another young lady is in the nursing program at Stevenson. She loves it, however, she comes home every weekend and has done so from the beginning. I have been told that the campus is very quiet during the weekends.

I work with a young woman (25-ish) who is a graduate of McDaniel. She said they had great parties there.

As has been stated, if a kid wants to find a party - they will!
