I’m taking a few exams in the spring and I’m considering self-studying for a couple of the easier ones. Would it be worth it to self-study, and would it improve my chances of getting into my school of choice if my class rank isn’t on par with that of other applicants?
AP test scores aren’t used for admission decisions.
Class rank is a weighting criterion in the USNWR ranking methodology. AP scores are not.
Your time is better spent developing EC interests.
