Is the "Application details" popup of my supposed to be displaying "2020-2021"?

I am applying to be a freshman for 2021-2022. When I started the application, it told me that the application was available. However, I noticed today that in the “Application details” popup, it shows “2020-2021”. The fact that I’m applying for 2021-2022 tells me that it should say 2021-2022. However, if it was actually the application for this year as it suggests, I would think it would be closed months ago. So it is a possibility in my head that 2020-2021 refers to when the application is open, but that seems so unconventional to do that I doubt that it is what they are doing.

Is it supposed to be displaying like this, or is that a problem? If it’s supposed to be like that, why? If it’s not supposed to be like that, how do I fix it?

It just means that you are applying during the 2020-2021 application cycle. It is as it should be. You don’t have to worry.
