is the area around CASE SHADY?

i read in another forum, that the most shady place is case's surrounding area.

i am going to apply to case, but i'm not sure when i read that...

but can anyone give me a sense of what kind of area it is?

is it safe?

You have to realize that Case is an urban campus, and virtually every urban campus borders areas that are not the best places to hang around at 3am (to say the least). So there is one direction I would not wander off in at night by myself and I will ask for an escort late at night (better safe than sorry), but at the same time I've never felt threatened while here or anything like that. After all I believe about a third of the police forces in Cleveland are here on campus most of the time, and campus security does a good job letting people know about incidents and protective measures they do etc.
So in short I'd say for an urban campus we're about par, but if you compare us to the cornfields yes, we're shady. But no matter where you go always remember that common sense is a good thing!

^thanks so much...

i really love great advice that great people like you give...

so i read that case has a 75 percent acceptance rate...

do you think my grades will get me in?
