Is the Common App due TODAY Dec 31 11:59 pm or TOMORROW Jan 1 11:59 pm ?

I received an email from Yale that says: “Yale’s Regular Decision deadline is January 1. Plan to submit the Common Application, including the Yale-specific questions, by the end of the day on January 1.”

Does this apply to all the other Jan 1 colleges as well? And is 11:59 in EST or in my local time zone? (or something else)

11:59on the first, so, not today. And it’s 11:59 your local time.
However last year they’d given some.leeway through the night.

Don’t push it too close though. You never know when a server might crash.
