<p>My daughter was just told that the common application deadline for ED is different than the ED deadline of the school to which she is applying. </p>

<p>She is planning to apply early to an Ivy with an early decision deadline of Nov. 1. This Ivy only takes common application with supplements. Her thought was to submit the common application with supplement just before Nov. 1.</p>

<p>Is the common application deadline for ED the same as the ED deadline posted on the college's website?</p>

<p>There is no generic “Common Application” deadline. The deadlines are always what each specific college tells you theirs it.</p>
