<p>Hi everyone, I want to thanks everyone who responded to my previous thread. I do have two more questions though. </p>
<p>How important is "brand name" when thinking about future careers. My situation is......is it better to get a NYU degree from a non-business school (from its soon to be engineering school; Polytechnic University) OR from a business school (Baruch) which has been recently been named a target school from one or two banks.</p>
<p>Also has everyone experienced two schools merging before? How swiftly was the merger completed? Did the lower rank school automatically gain higher respect from recruiters or did it take a number of years?</p>
