Is the October 24 ACT too late for Early Decision?

If the deadline for my application is Nov 1st...and if I take the ACT October 24...my scores will only be available like Nov. 9...and then I would have to send the score report...which could take a week.

All in all...my question is...will a college accepts score reports (SAT or ACT) after their deadline...

Thank you.

I have the same question.

Someone told me that it’s not possible and I went to my college’s website that I’m applying to and it said they will not allow test scores to be sent on after nov. 1

I guess it depends on the college? I’m not too sure though.

Check with the individual schools, since they all have different timelines.

I think for example, U of M, when applying, you need to send an old act score and then the new one, even after nov 1, may still have a chance of being considered early. So idk

depends on the school… columbia accepts anything up until the november SAT date, thus accepts the oct. ACT…

My guidance counselor said yes you can still send them in as long as you check off the test date you took it, but, like Damon said, I think it depends on the college =/

I recommend calling the college itself and asking

I think for most colleges, as long as you write down the college on the day you take the test, it’ll be okay. Not positive though…
