Is the October SAT too late?

<p>I am applying Sept. 1, rolling admission at Penn State. On one hand, I hear it is best to apply early to have a shot at University Park. On the other hand, I'd like to retake the SAT one more time. If I apply in Sept. take the SAT again in Oct. and send it in, will admissions even look at it? </p>

<p>I'd like to bring up my scores 60-100 points. I have a 1740 right now. </p>

<p>can you take the SAT, rush the scores to Penn State and apply by the end of October? if not, i would just contact admissions and ask, they would be more than happy to assist you and answer any question you have</p>

<p>Someone told me I could sumbit it around december (Test scores).</p>

<p>I would like to know the validity of this as well, as I got a measley 1550 (out of 2400) the 1st time. I was not all there, I need to raise it up to 1800, which I can with solid studying and time management.</p>
