Is the Second Chemistry Exam Easier or Harder Than the First?

So this the first half of the semester I have worked really hard in chemistry doing practice problems and going to free UF tutoring. On the first chemistry exam I got an 80%. I am glad that I got a passing grade that is higher than a C but I guess it is a little disappointing still, because I worked so much on practice problems and the whole time I was doing the exam I felt really confident that I was getting the right answers so I was hoping to eek out an A. But anyway now I am starting to look at the second exam material and it looks like stuff I am not even remotely familiar with. Then again I’ve heard from other people that they actually did better on the 2nd exam than the first. Is the 2nd exam easier? Is it more concentrated than the 1st on the types of problems you can have? For example on the first exam it can ask you anything from finding the surface area of tin foil to finding the atomic mass of an unknown element, you have to be able to do a little bit of everything.

There is a tendency for the first test in Chemistry and Physics, to be a bit tougher than the second. I think they tend to adjust the second, after seeing the results from the first exam. Either way, you still have a chance at the A, keep up the good work!

@Revolution96 Have you looked into purchasing Study Edge to help? A friend of ours at UF said that it really helped her with chemistry.
