<p>As others have said, UT’s engineering program is one of the best in the nation. It’s considerably more difficult to get into Cockrell than UT overall.</p>
<p>As an overall university, UT’s peers
schools are UCLA, Michigan, UNC, Wisconsin and Illinois if that gives you a better idea of its prestige.</p>
