Is the Young Scholars Program at FSU prestigious?

Hi everyone, i cant seem to find the answer anywhere online: is the FSU young scholars program highly regarded by universities? I just got accepted and i was wondering if attending would boost my chances at an ivy league school.

You got accepted? I was sent the invitation on February to apply o.o Basically any program would help you… However, I wouldn’t say it is “prestigious”… but it can definitely teach you things you can put on your application. I’m still waiting for their response, but they never gave me an acceptance date or anything, so idk what happened.

It will look good, but not great. It will do little to help your application for an Ivy though.

Please don’t decide on attending a particular summer program based on its “prestige” or ability to get you into an Ivy League school. Most colleges, including ivies, just want to see that you’re doing something productive over the summer. Ask yourself, would you participate in this program if it had no affect on your college applications? It should reveal your true motives for applying to the program and , ultimately, help you determine whether it’s a wise decision to attend.

Anyone else get notified today?
