Junior year 2 AP( Micro/Macro Econ and European History), rest are honors
Will take 4 AP and rest honors in Senior year.
I don’t have many outstanding activities other than that got into the MMEA district band once, and received an presidential award for volunteering
According to Naviance, my score is probable for NYU, but is there a chance that I can get into Stern if I ED NYU?
The GPA I meant to say unweighted, and for the APs, I got 5s in both Micro and Macro economics, and 4 in AP Euro.
My highest SAT essay score is currently 18
Gonna be honest…Chances are not good. i’m planning to apply stern ed with a 3.8 unweighted gpa and 1500+ sat, 800 math 2 sat, 7 aps and for me it’s a reach/high reach. Stern’s average stats are around 1470 sat and 3.8 gpa, both your scores are below the average. Don’t take this personally but I think your chances for even other nyu schools might be tough, judging by my graduating friends from last year, who had decent gpa and sat all got denied to nyu engineering and arts and science. Also, if you put stern as first choice and don’t get in, NYU usually will not care about your second choice either and outright deny you from what i’ve read.
