is there a minimum age limit for taking the SAT exams?

Wow, good job!

I don’t think we have any right to judge (and therefore not believe) this 12 year old.
Good for you, and good luck.

As for the topic, there is no age limit on taking the SAT. I saw a 4th grader taking the SAT as a special case at my March Testing Site.

i also know a 5th grader who got a 1520/1600 on the old SAT. so yeah  true story. really

^that makes me feel stupid…

^hehe that would make anyone feel stupid
OOO!!! OO!!! i got a 1500 on the diagnostic test for the new sat and I’m 16 does that make me special???
guess not :stuck_out_tongue: lol

I was just waiting for somebody to take 20 minutes looking for a post to disprove me and soothe their own egos…

You all crack me up.

I’m sixteen and I got a 2130. And I’m also pretty amused right now.

^Hahahah, ROFL, LMAO…-_-

Actually, they’re two different people . . . Darryl Wu is the kid who most recently was reported to have an 800 math at age 10. Sho Yano is the 17-year old who’s in a MD/PhD program and will graduate at 19 and had a 1500/1600 at age 8.

10 year old with 800 SAT math. This is special. And this one is very special:
Alex Song (Waterloo, ON) grade 4 qualified for USAMO.

^ that’s insane

Yes, insane for us but sane for them.

And both Alex Song and Darryl Wu (grade 6) qualified for USAMO 2008.

[2008 USAMO Qualifiers](http://www.unl.edu/amc/e-exams/e8-usamo/e8-1-usamoarchive/2008-ua/2008usamoqual.shtml)

And Evan O’Dorney (grade 9) is one of USAMO 2008 winners and he is the winner of the Clay Mathematics Award.

i wish i were good at math :[

^ does that even make sense grammatically? I wish i was good at math… okay now i wish i was/were good at writing -_-.

the post 2 spaces above is referring to the above post… stupid CC errors.

Haha, these 6th graders can probably kick my @ss! Well, maybe just a little because I do UIL Number Sense and Math and stuff like that too, but still very impressive…

brb fruadin’

“And Evan O’Dorney (grade 9) is one of USAMO 2008 winners and he is the winner of the Clay Mathematics Award.”

Also the winner of the national spelling bee, no?

And you guys felt threatened by my fake identity. It’s THIS kid you should really be worried about.
