<p>I've written many practice SAT essays but I don't know how well I'm doing (or if I'm improving at all).
I can't find an online SAT grader and I don't know if I should keep posting on forums (like this one). People get irritated after a while. =[</p>
<p>Almost all prep books have sample essays and what score they received, as well as the criteria on which they're scored. You could also ask your parents, teachers, whomever, compare your essay with an essay that received a 6, a 5, et cetera, to see where yours falls.</p>
<p>Princeton Review has an essay grader tool called LiveGrader. You submit your essay and they grade it (it's graded by humans, not a computer). </p>
<p>I thought you could only do it if you were doing one of their courses, but you can actually do just the LiveGrader thing for $3.99. That's not a bad deal at all. Go to this page and scroll all the way down:</p>
