is there away that i can graduate early if i am in k12 i am in 9th grade i am 14 years old yes or no
It depends on your state’s education laws. Many won’t let you matriculate unless you’re 16. There are always exceptions though, like the kids who attend Harvard at 10. I have no clue how that works though.
i live in Pennsylvania i go to agora for k12
If you want to finish in fewer than four years with a high school diploma, ask Agora how to accomplish that. If you want to enter college after completing fewer than four years and without a high school diploma, many private schools don’t require one. Public schools tend to be less flexible.
can i do it now or no
Here’s the issue: What do you plan to do after you graduate? Will you have completed the curriculum that is expected for your district? Are you thinking about college? Are you an advanced accelerated student?
when i get out i will go to college to become a cop or become a NFL football player or start my own business
Without more information, I’d say that graduating freshman year is unlikely. However, you should be having this conversation with your parents, teachers, and guidance counselors. You need to know what classes are required for graduation in your state and from there make a plan to complete the necessary credits. Another option is to get your GED. I do not know the laws that go with this and I do not know if they vary by state. You should either do some research on your own or talk to someone at your school.
You should also consider why you want to graduate so early. Assuming you plan to go to college, you have to make sure you are intellectually, mentally, and emotionally ready for that kind of transition. You should also take into consideration that you will have to live at home (or with other family) while going to college, at least until you are seventeen or eighteen. If you want to graduate because you don’t want to go to school anymore, then you need to find a job or something useful that you can do with time.
To answer your question “yes or no”, I’d have to say no, at least right now with the information you have given. Especially if you are a freshman now and just starting to wonder if this could work. Perhaps there are kids out there who have graduated freshman year, but they probably made it through careful planning.
You should do some research into your state’s laws. Talk to your parents and talk to people (adults) from your school. Anyway, good luck.
thank you
if you homeschool, you can graduate any time your ready. I have four DDs in college, oldest started at university at 16, next at 20, and last two at 13. you can write a homeschool diploma or take ged to graduate and enter university, we have two that went with ged and two that went with homeschool diploma.
how do i contact to find out how do i go about doing that @jean1960
^^^ This.
Whatever needs to be done, Michael, you can’t do it just by yourself.
@austinmshauri already answered these homeschool questions in December for you. He had me translate the information for your parents. Did you even bother to read what he wrote?:
If you haven’t done any of the above, you shouldn’t continue to keep asking people on this forum if you can get into a college since you haven’t met any of the requirements.
i did @“aunt bea” i dont do homeschool no more
You won’t get into any university without the required coursework.
now i go to this sports college for people to do sports like i do sports and i am recruited and they do college class work and highschool work . @“aunt bea”
@MichaelRobinson as long as you’re happy and doing what you like, then good for you.
However if you wish to study at a degree-granting college, then you really need to do the research and make sure you have the required coursework, grades, English proficiency, etc. You should reread the information given to you here and in your other thread.
i did read some of it in the other thread @MITer94
@MichaelRobinson Some? Or all of it?
Do you have any more questions?
Why don’t you go to a local public high school? You could play football there and finish your high school education. Why the rush?
