that's my Q

why on earth would that matter?

I do not know, as I have never been in one of the bathrooms, but it is a college campus, and most public restrooms, even if they are not on college campuses, do have some form of graffiti.

There is graffiti on the public bathrooms at UNC… as well as those of Harvard and Stanford, University of Alabama and University of Michigan. That really is not at all relevant to the quality of the school you are looking at.

Yeah, but there are also the cute ones. Like the one in the 8th floor bathroom of Davis, telling you to “Chin up, beautiful!”

Packerfan, apparently Stanford doesn’t have any obscene graffiti: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/stanford-university/822558-there-obscene-graffiti-campus-building-bathrooms.html

I don’t believe the Stanford thread, because, as a rule of thumb, where there are public restrooms, there will also be graffiti, it might not be that prominent, but it will be there. One cannot exist without the other (yah hyperbole!)

tentai,

I was there earlier this year visiting a friend of mine there, and there definitely was graffiti in some of the bathrooms. Granted, there may be less there because they spend more money maintaining their facilities, but that’s what you can afford when you charge $55,000 a year for an education…

I have definitely seen graffiti, but not obscene graffiti in Davis - so like, that picture of the octopus, and the Rocky Horror Picture Show lips, but no naked ladies or anything. But I only use the girl bathrooms. I haven’t really seen it in other places. The practice rooms have ‘graffiti’ but it’s more like really stupid dialogue on what counts as music, etc.
