How racist are the whites towards indians?.......do whites mix with indians and be friendly? i might attend ASU this fall and would surely like to make some white friends african american friends asian friends latino friends i just want to know if they all accept indians and are to racist towards them especially whites of course as its their country im kind of scared of whites should i be?

You would be better off asking a similar question in the ASU forums, however, don’t make it specific to any community (in this case Indians), as current and former ASU students / adcoms might take it offensively. Just ask about how open and friendly / welcoming the community is. I don’t think most of the people on the Indian forums are well equipped to answer your question, since most of us aren’t in the US yet ;)

There isn’t any racism as such. But it is true that in a lot of schools, people tend to stick with folks that they are more comfortable with or share common interests - and if it means being mostly friends with someone from their own country/culture, then that is what happens.
So it depends how much you integrate as well, take part in student organizations other than just being stuck with the ones you are most comfortable with. I like to think it is more of who you can relate to, rather than someone intentionally not befriending you because of the country you are from.
This made me laugh. Americans are a melting pot of all cultures. You are more likely to feel at home here than in any other part of the world.

Even I have applied to ASU waitin for a reply

you never know d scenarioBE PREPARED THOUGH

What best describes your skin color? :p

In all seriousness, I highly doubt it.
