Is there really any Algebra II on the new SAT? I remember when the SAT changed there was so much talk about the new "hard" Algebra... then when I took it, it was still mostly the same types of Algebra questions as before. I also don't see any real Algebra II questions in the Blue Book. There's stuff about Parabolas and Quadratic equations, shifting functions on the coordinate plane and factoring, etc, but isn't this all taught in Algebra I? I thought Algebra II was Conic sections, combinations and permutations, matrixes, polynomial division, etc. I just want to make sure the Blue Book is not "hiding" the hard Algebra that's really on the test.

I've only taken the new SAT once, and my Math score was mediocre (low 600's), so maybe I missed something.. I don't remember anything that didn't seem like basic Algebra, though. Maybe some of the more experienced test takers here can shed some light as to where the Algebra II is on the SAT?
