Is there study abroad programs at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering?

Do a lot of people study abroad even though it is a very small school?

Some do. But the web info can be hard to find because they use the “Study Away” term (whichi includes US schools too) - http://www.olin.edu/students/study-away/

Thanks

You are able to Study Away", but the number of students doing so is relatively low. My daughter just completed a semester long (Spring 2015) study away in Belgium and her roommate completed a study away in Ireland. Because the Engineering courses are so engaging at Olin, students want the study away to exclude core courses. In order to clear an entire semester, it takes planning from early on. Your adviser will be happy to help you. Additionally, while not a study abroad, Olin collaborates with other colleges to help them start engineering programs. Many students have opted to take a semester and travel to Sao Paulo, Brazil to help the Insper school get their program started. There is a new Engineering School planning to open in Hereford England and another in Ahmedadab India based upon the Olin model. I don’t know if there will be any opportunities in those schools.

I believe there are 20 students studying abroad got the Spring 2016 semester.
