Hello,

My passion lies in math, and during the summer I plan on enriching myself in college-level math textbooks, preparing for math contests and taking two coursera courses on Calculus, is this a good way to spend my summer? I want to prepare for doing math research with a local university professor during the school year and I need to prepare by going through these textbooks.

Yes, it’s a great way to spend the summer…but one should also have fun, and have more diverse experiences during the summer.
