Congrats to everyone!

Sofaraway, I’m almost positive you’ll get in! What are your stats and maybe we can chance you! :)

3.2, 1630 sat, I think since they count individual scores.
I have a really huge upward grade trend and I’m hoping they notice.

I got in before Christmas but I also applied early. I just visited it the other day… The campus is beautiful! I loved it right away. Also, I didn’t think the surrounding neighborhood was that bad at all, but that is just me. Congratulations everyone else! I’m planning on being in Seattle in September! :)

That’s not bad at all sofaraway! You’ll make it in (well, I’m not part of the committee but it seems like you’re in reasonable range!) :)

AKGirl, you should tell us all about it so we can (or I can) get a feel for it. My parents are too poor to let me travel, but will probably let me choose one school. :D

is Seattle U reasonable to pay for, that’s another factor too…

uw20106- Sit in on a class!! Cause that’s what you’re going to be doing in college…going to class. You might love it or hate it. Also, i really wished i had seen the Connolly center (gym). now that i think about it, i dont even know where it is…I guess i just forgot about that. But also, take the student tour. it’s not that long.

Sofaraway- They’ll notice the upward grade trend. I heard colleges really like that. (me on the other hand…my grades have slowly been dropping, and i still got in…so let’s just hope that the senioritis doesnt continue through college)

It’s so hard to wait…lol
Everyday I’ve been checking if there is mail for me.

Question: For the scholarships do they count your gpa before first semester senior year? Because if they count my gpa now I’m eligible for more money.

I got accepted!! I am sooo happy! :)

Congratulations! Maybe my daughter and I will see you at Accepted Students Day in April. We are anxiously awaiting the financial aid offer, just as you are. Enjoy your celabratory evening!

Congratulations sofaraway!
Told you so…

anyway…so…financial aid? When do we hear about that?

The book thing says in late march.
I hope I can afford it because that’s the only thing leaving me unsure.

Oh and there is an accepted students day in April??
Idk if I can make that, can’t afford to fly up there right now, but I didn’t know that; I thought there was only the summer orientation.

yea i guess there is. i’m not sure if i’m going to go though

Exactly when in April is it?
Is there a link with more info?

Seattle U has an active Facebook page where you could get quick answers to your questions. They also have numerous admitted students days for different cities and states.

And admitted students days aren’t required; they’re not like summer orientation. They’re just an opportunity for you to see campus as part of your decision-making process. Or if you go to one of the local admitted student receptions, it’s at least an opportunity to ask questions.

Congrats, everyone! Hope to see you in the fall!

So I got an email from SU about open house and it also said FA packages are being sent out the 3rd week of March! Next week! This will determine whether I am going there or not; I’m so anxious.

I got my acceptance yesterday! With a scholarship!!

Stats: none. I’m self-educated. Which is what made my acceptance even more shocking! Thanks you Seattle U for believing in me!

It came in a big yellow envelope. Inside is a brick-red folder with their logo embossed on the cover.

I sent in my application the night of… the 14th of January.

@paigemg & pop

Hey… I like that sketchy neighborhood. There are tons of art venues. For example the Frye Art Museum is just a couple of a blocks away. Another example would be The Oddfellows Hall; on the top floor is a ballroom that has dancing every night. Swing dancing twice a week! Woowoo!! And then there’s Cal Anderson Park which is a short walk away. Plus easy access to Pioneer Square, downtown, and the U district by direct bus lines.

The invite came today for admitted students days, either April 11 or April 17.

yeah I got it.
too bad I can’t go =/
If I do end up going to Seattle the first time I’ll see the campus is summer orientation.

Never mind!
Flying to Seattle on Apr 6!!!
