<p>Quick and short:</p>
<p>I've been in a grassroots sort of organization with a grant from the Komen Foundation to be a community health educator for breast cancer, mammograms, etc, for about a year now. I talk directly to people, but it is as far away from a traditional clinical setting as you can get (you'd never believe it). Would this be considered "clinical experience"?</p>
<p>Or is pallative care/hospice volunteering more appropriate?</p>
<p>Sorry, I'm not into the traditional tasks assigned to me at hospitals...I'm more interested in having a impact on people instead of completing simple errands.</p>
