<p>because of some schedule difficulties i wasnt able to take algebra in jr high.
I took algebra 9th,app geometry 10th, app alg 2 11th, and the their thinking about not letting take ap precal my senior yr. instead they want me to take ap stats. if i were able to double up on ap precal and ap sats and not having a calculus background how much will this hurt me in college ? Can u please give some advice in helping me get some backgrond or experience in calculus during the summer. please help very desperate!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
<p>Well to say the truth a lot of the best colleges really prefer someone who already has taken calculus. Try taking an AP calculus class at your local community college over the summer. It will show that you are willing to work hard to improve and boost your chances.</p>
